Looking back over summer :)

Here's a look back at all the wonderful memories we had during our summer. :)

Fun at the lake with Ymkers :)

English County Line dancing :)

Park Nights every Thursday evening at 6 :D We played Ultimate and Volleyball.
Everyone did really well too so the games were pretty intense :)

Jeannie taking we three girls shopping in St. Louis. :) What wonderful memories we girls had! :D

Cooking out on the grill and savoring that special bonding time <3

Drawing :) Yes, this is my artwork, not much, but I suddenly felt like drawing something one night :)

Gorgeous, breath-taking sunsets <3

Grace's Volleyball games - She has awesome stances!

Intense!

I spent all summer with bruises all over my knees and grass stains up and down my legs. I would have to say that it was a very successful summer! :D

On to the next season... WELCOME FALL!!! :D Let's see if we can fill it up with more memories :)

New Photography from Alyssa Jean Studios

This picture was taken on one of those perfect nights for a walk. :) Clara and I actually went on a nice long walk together up and down the road that night. It was perfect. There was that cooling breeze blowing, the night was warm, yet that perfect temperature and the moon was lighting up the whole farm. I love it out here!
I have a friend that has been giving me tips on my photography. He told me how to work with my camera to get better night time shots. Here is how my photography has been getting along lately. :) I'm pretty excited about it!
We've finally been getting a lot of rain lately and it's been pulling us away from the draught that we've been in. :) This is my first attempt at trying to get a REAL lightening picture. I was so, so excited when I realized I had gotten this! I was with Clara and we both got so excited that we screamed. :)

Gorgeous sunset... <3

Comfy enjoyed posing for me. ;)

Here is my prize winning photo. :) I must admit that I'm pretty proud to have gotten this photo! :D Wow!

I love capturing lightening. :D

It almost looks as if we're having an alien invasion on the farm. haha!
Well, there's pretty much what I've been up to lately! Still working on home work every day. It keeps me busy, but it's a good feeling to know that I'm moving ahead in life. :)

There's my update for now! Time to head downstairs and start working on school. :)

Peace out!

Summertime fun :)

4th of July, hanging with Evan. :)
Hello!!

I hope this post finds you enjoying the first day of August. Here on the Third Day Farm it is 95 degrees outside, which makes for a very HOT day. :P

Currently I'm working on my Western Civilization homework, but I thought I would take a short break and update you on my wonderful summer. :)

So far this summer has held WAY too much fun in it. I would have to say that this has been one of my most fun filled summers I've ever had.

In May I went on two trips, one to Chicago for mission work and one to D.C. for site seeing. June came with Park Nights every Thursday evening at Lion's Club park, my friend Ben Cohen getting married, and a trip to the Ymker's lake house with Emily Borah. :)

July came with the 4th of July, our family's annual Haying Party, another trip to the Ymker's lake house, a youth conference, learning Racquetball, and one of the English Country Line dances. :) All in between these crazy months I've been doing my best to fit in my school work as I work through a degree in Marketing from Thomas Edison college. :) It's been crazy, but oh how much fun! :D I wouldn't trade the hecticness for anything! Here's some of my favorite pictures from the months past. :)

Chris playing with little Evan :)

Hanging out with friends at the Haying Party. :)

Ultimate frisbee at the haying party. We had some pretty gigantic teams. :P

Youth Conference, I got to see old friends again! It was so incredible to see these people! :D

Jessica and I having fun being chaperones :P

We rock.

One of my favorite photos from the conference. :) It was great seeing old friends again!
Friends forever! You're a great friend Ben! I miss you!

Most of the group from the conference that I had made friends with last year. :)

Playing volleyball and Ultimate frisbee during Park Night is my highlight of the week. :)

Best friends! :) Love you and miss you Abby! I love hanging out with her!

Learning to play Racquetball has been a lot of fun and a bit frustrating at times.. ;) Watching
Brady or Derek play makes me feel so ridiculous when I get on the court, but hey, I'm learning
and someday I look forward to playing a game against them. :)

My little Freagano. :) haha, he's such a cutie!

Lately I've been really focusing on working out more at home, which as felt amazing and I'm really starting to see results now. :) That is very exciting! I've also taken up jogging, which has felt incredible!!! It's such a good feelings to know I'm taking good care of the body God gave me. :)

Anyway, there's the update for now. Stay tuned, I have more news on the way, but for now I have to get back to my school work. :)

Another lake day at Ymker's :)

WIPE OUT!
Hello all!

The beginning of July started off with 4th of July, which was wonderful, our family's annual haying party and another trip out to Ymker's lake house. :) I'll make a video at some point to show how our haying party went, so for now I'm just going to update on the lake trip. Abby and her family invited me and my siblings and a few other friends out to their place for more fun with tubing, swimming, and wake boarding. :)

Enjoy the pictures :)

The only good picture anyone got of me wake boarding. Hopefully next time
someone will get some better pictures. ;)

Happy people! :D

Colin and Steven riding the tube. :) They had a blast!

awww! Brother and sister

Everyone jumping into the lake! Ahh! It felt SO good!

Derek trained everyone how to wake board on land and then took each person out
on the water. He was a great teacher and got everyone but two people on the board. :)

I love their GREEN yard. haha, I haven't seen GREEN in forever!

YAHOO!!!

We had a wonderful time swimming and trying to fit as many people as possible on the tube

King of the mountain. Brady and Josiah were the constant conquerers. :P

Jeni is king!! Well, for only a little while... ;)

I love this picture of Jeni and Abby on the tube! They had so much fun!

NO HANDS!!! :D

Steven wake boarding. :)

I was VERY proud of my little sister getting up on the wake board!! :D She got up
her 2nd try!!

Drew took some more time to get up on the wake board, but as soon as
he had it figured out, he was pretty good on it. :)

He had so much fun :)

Gracie driving a wave runner!

There's how many people we were able to get on the tube! :)

We had a fantastic cook out for supper that evening :) Thank you Mr. And Mrs. Ymker for the
food and time you put into everything. :)

Colin and Josiah on the tube

Josiah showing off his talent with the wake board. :) I was pretty impressed!

Doing tricks. :) Next time I'll get better pictures. It was getting dark so everything was blurring.

Ahh, an ending to a perfect day at the lake! :)
Ymkers, thank you again so much for having us out to your place. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we had
a complete blast! I look forward to hanging out with you guys again, whether it be tossing a frisbee, playing racquetball, or swimming out at your place. Whenever I'm with you guys I know we're gonna have the time
of our lives! :) Blessings and love to you guys! :D
So there you have it! That's the end of today's post on the blog! I'll try to get some more posts caught up, but right now I'm gonna grab something for lunch and work out for a little while. After that, it's back to the history books. I'm studying for a test that I'm hoping to take this Friday. :P

Peace out!
